Compare Bibles

Different Bibles are translations of the same writings into other languages, and some traditions keep a different set of books. A translation is a wording of the source text, so Hebrew, Greek, Latin, Geʽez, English, and other versions do not always line up word for word. Comparing them shows where a verse agrees, where a phrase shifts, and where one text includes words another does not. Each translation opens in its own window, side by side, with the full verse rather than a clipped section.
